Terms and conditions

The following booking conditions form the basis of your agreement with Edventure Ladakh (“we”, “us” and “our”). Please read them carefully as they set out our respective rights and obligations. By asking us to confirm your booking, we are entitled to assume that you have had the opportunity to read and have read these booking conditions and agree to them.

These booking conditions only apply to the trip arrangements which you book with us in Ladakh and which we agree to make, provide or perform (as applicable) as part of our agreement with you. All references in these booking conditions to “trip”, “booking”, “contract” or “arrangements” mean such trip arrangements unless otherwise stated. References to “departure” mean the start date of these arrangements.

Booking your trip and payment details

• All the tour packages regarding the itinerary mentioned on the website is exclusive with company and will be discussed when you decide to proceed your journey with us.
• Full amount is to be deposited before the trip starts.
• Conveyance used other then mentioned in the itinerary is chargeable.

Cancellation of bookings

Must be notified to us on the contact number provided on the website as soon as possible.  You are liable to cancel your trip any time but with the following cancelation charges:

• 10 percent cancelation charges are applicable if you cancel the trip 30 days prior the trip.
• 25 percent cancelation charges are applicable if you cancel the trip 20 days prior the trip.
• 50 percent cancelation charges are applicable if you cancel the trip 10 days prior the trip.
• No refund afterwards.

Age and health requirements

For most of our tours the minimum age is 12 years. All travelers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal guardian, by an escort over the age of 18, appointed by their legal guardian. The legal guardian or their designee will be responsible for the traveler under the age of 18 day to day’s care

We have no upper age limit though we remind you that our trips can be physically demanding due to the terrain and altitude and you must ensure that you are suitably fit to allow full participation.

 Acceptance and Risk

You acknowledge that the nature of the trip is adventurous and participation involves a degree of personal risk. You will be visiting places where the political, cultural and geographical attributes present physical challenges greater than those present in our daily lives. We follow government regulations and reports from our own contacts in assessing whether the itinerary should operate.  However, it is also your own responsibility to acquaint yourself with all possible relevant travel information and the nature of your itinerary. You acknowledge that your decision to travel is made in light of consideration of this information and you accept that you are aware of the personal risks involved upon such travel.
