We value the people we work with- from our clients and our team to every single cook or porter who join us on these journeys. 

We are constantly innovating and finding new ways to design experiences that not only give back to the community but also encourage fertilization of ideas across boundaries. This allows our students and travelers to take back memories that are invaluable and irreplaceable. 

We don’t back away from saying no because we value quality experiences. 

We want to focus on the small tasks like making tea with nomads in a hidden valley- focusing on these small tasks gives us the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the truly meaningful aspects of travel.

Since we design curated journeys, we value the knowledge and expertise that our people bring. With Edventure ladakh, you learn while traveling. Our guides and instructors range from Buddhist monks to local experts and artisans trained in their craft. 

WE GIVE BACK TO OUR COMMUNITIES

We host workshops in wood-carving, pottery, sculpture and local handicrafts amongst others for our travelers. By joining our community, you are an active supporter of these local artisans who have perfected their craft over the course of many tedious years. Edventure ladakh advocates for giving back in kind to these local people- be they from nomads or farmers in some remote corner of these harsh mountainous regions. 

CONSCIOUS TRAVELING IS IMPORTANT TO US

As our vision statement and logo implies, we believe in conscious traveling. Responsible traveling begins with the right mindset. 

At Ethical Himalaya, we promote this mindset by allowing our travelers to live and work closely with locals in their own homes. Living and mingling with them at such close quarters allows for critical reflection on our lifestyles.

Developing meaningful bonds, cultural immersion and actively working to reduce our carbon footprint through use of recyclables, organizing garbage collection drives cultivates the mindset of responsible and conscious traveling.

ADVENTURE IS ALWAYS ON THE MENU

Our journeys are never set in stone. By remembering this crucial fact, we leave room for exciting discoveries on the go. We go beyond the usual and if an opportunity comes along the way- we encourage exploration. You might meet a lama in a hidden cave or spot a unique lato. We understand that travel is synonymous with unplanned adventures.
