Day 1  

Manali to Jispa

Altitude

Distance 95km

Duration 3 hour with some stops it will be 4 hour.

After the breakfast you will start driving toward ladakh, by passing the most beautiful sceneries of the forest and the water falls of manali. Now a days you don’t have to cross the pass, you will be driving by the longest Atal Tunnel and this cuts down travel distance.

You will reach Jispa by the evening and by the beautiful river the campas and hotel of Jispa situated.

Enjoy the evening by the river and campfire in the night.

Today you will be experiencing the swiss deluxe tent.

Day 2

Jispa to Leh

Distance 335km

Duration 9 hour

Leaving behind the beautiful camp site you will be ascending all the time and today you will see the great transmission of the greenery to barren land, enjoy the view from the high mountains.

Today you will be crossing two passes  (Baralacha- la and Taklang –la ).

After crossing the Baralachala you will reach serchu and have lunch over there.

Serchu is the border to UT Ladakh and Himachal Pardesh.

You will see the plans of Changthang where nomads from changthang go for grazing.

And by the night falls you will reach leh and transferred to the hotel.

Day 3

Altitude 3600mts

Leisure Day

As you have been constantly driving for 4 days and traveled thousands of km, a leasure days is must that is why today you will rest all day and go for a nice walk.

Rest day is also must for the acclimatization as you have come very high.

Today you may feel little heaving and dizzy because of the altitude difference but the complete rest will be the best solution.

Day 4

Visit Himis Monastery  and Thiksay monastery

Altitude:- 3600mts

Today is the day to understand the deep rooted Tibetan Buddhism in particular and culture of Ladakh in general. After breakfast you will be driving toward the southeast part of ladakh to visit the most important monastery of Ladakh known as Himis Monastery, and then to Thiksay monastery. After than you will be transfer back to Hotel and in the evening you can walk to the Market.

Day 5

Leh to Nubra Via Khardong-la Pass (18370 ft)

Distance 135 Km approx.

Duration 4 to 5 Hour

Afrter Having breakfast from the hotel you will drive to Worlds highest Motor able pass. You will enjoy some hot Kawa tea and meggei noddle  at the top. Descend all the way down to Nubra valley, once you reach Hunder, in the evening you will see the double Humped Bactrian Camel at baby sand dunes.

Day 6

Drive to Turtuk.

Distance :- 60km

Duration:- 2 hour.

Visit Turtuk village, known for its beauty and stone carving and natural refrigerator, we have a museum to visit by the King of Yabgo Dynasty.

See the water mills and the stone architecture houses of the common people.

Overnight:- Guest House.

(Option  is to Drive back and stay in Hunder)

Day 7

Nubra to Pangong Via Shayok road.

Distance :  145 km approx.

Duration:  5  hour

Today you will take an alternative route and you will head toward Pangong lake  One of the most interesting place of ladkah. You will be driving by the shayok river.

Overnight : Swiss deluxe Tent

Day 8

Pangong lake to Leh

Today you will wake up early and go for walk by the lake and see the sun rise , then come back to camp for  breakfast and head back to Leh. On the way you will visit Thiksay monastery.

Evening out in the leh market Shopping and dine out.

Day 9

White water Rafting

Drive to Chilling and do the rafting in the zansker river and Lunch will be served at Sneymo the end point of the rafting place, the end point is the confluence of two great river Indus and Zansker. Come back  to leh by 3pm and then do the shopping and all and dine out. Try some local ladakhi cuisine at the best restaurant.

Day 10

Leh to kargil

Distance 220 km

Duration 5 Hour

Today on the way to kargil, you will visit few very important places like Alchi Monastery and lamayuru monastery on the way.  Both monasteries are built in 11th century.

Lamayuru is also known as a moon land of ladakh.

Reach kargil by the evening and the spent the night at Hotel

Day 11

Kargil to Srinagar

Distance 205 km

Duration 5 to 6 hour

Start driving toward Zojila pass, before zojila pass you will be crossing many small villages and the last village to ladakh is Drass that is considered to be the coldest place in the world, and it’s the habitat for brown beer and many important species.

After crossing Zojila you will reach Sonammarg, a very well known place for film shooting.

You will reach Srinagar by the evening and relax at the exotic house boat.

Day 12

Around Srinagar

Today early morning you will taking a shikara ride and go to see the floating veg market of dal Lake, it starts very early and then you will visit  Shankaracharya temple dedicated to Lord Shiva , later visit to  Shalimar , Mughal garden Nishat and city

In the evening relax with the sunset by the lake.

Overnight House boat

Day 13

Day tour to Gulmarag.

Distance 56 km

Visit to the one of the best place in Srinager  known as Gulmarag, and then come back to House boat in the evening and relex and go for a shopping.

 

Day 14

Fly back to Kolkata

After Breakfast you will be Transfer to Airport.
